As if the snow and freezing rain isn't enough to depress me, I found out an hour ago a dear friend who had a mastectomy 12/17/13 has a brain tumor.
Really?!? The mastectomy wasn't enough? It was her second round with breast cancer. A brain tumor has to be added?
Maybe this wouldn't be hitting as hard as it is had I not lost my best friend to the same damned thing a couple of years ago.
Sh*t! There's nothing I can say to her, nothing I can do for her. She's in the hands of the medical staff and I pray with all my heart and soul they can feel the touch of God as the work to help my friend.
I cannot stand a repeat of a couple of years ago. I don't know what to do. I feel so impotent, angry, fearful.
