Rather than focus on what big and little things were bringing you joy this past week, seeing how it's a brand new year now, how about we look ahead instead?
What sort of things - again, big or small - are you going to commit to doing more of (or less of, if it's something that's been a negative in your life) in order to bring more cheer to your life? Go vague or be bold and get specific, your call but no matter what there is no room here for being down, mopey, or giving in to sadness and depression - this is all about reclaiming your happiness and making 2021 a happier year for each and every one of us! So get to it... what will be your reasons to be cheerful this year?

I recently heard a great 2007 song the other day, "Falling Slowly" because it popped up in my newsfeed, accompanied by the sad news that the male singer, Glen Hansard, just died in a motorcycle accident. I learned that the song won an award and was featured in an indie movie called Once. I just watched it, and it's really good. They made it in 3 weeks on a $100,000 budget. It's streaming on...

- getting more sleep
- waste less time on the computer
- painting the walls in my rooms and finally hanging some stuff on some of these walls (literally it's been over a year and I've still got a pile of frames sitting in the corner of the room...)
- more time dancing like a lunatic and doing yoga and just taking better care of myself
I also want to spend less time on my phone and less time scrolling in general
-reading and journaling!
-getting my old self back (anxiety is kicking my butt currently)
-being consistent with my exercise
