Christmas Cookies

There are so very many kinds of cookies and traditions. Over the years I have done the following but now streamlined to about 5 or so.


*Chocolate Chip      Peanut Butter Blossoms     Peanut Butter Choc chip     Snickerdoodles     *Sour Cream Cut-outs    *Candy Canes


Gingerbread      Nut Tassies     *Thumbprints     Snowballs (Mexican wedding cookies)    Cream Cheese Crescents     PB Choc dessert


Chocolate Fudge          Peanut Butter Fudge          *Pumpkin Cake Roll      Spritz

Mom did the cookies in our household......I did like to eat them though and I would eat yours up for sure.....but now it would require a bump up of the insulin.....;-0(

I think Moms and Grandmas always did the baking (just another way to show their love) After mine were gone, I inherited the chore but loved every minute. When you were a kid were there certain ones they always made? What was your absolute favorite? Ours was Chocolate Chip.

Mine is sort of like a cookie. It's called "Hello Dolly's". My girl's and I always bake them......handed down the recipe by my MIl.

Some of those I've never heard of but they do sound yummy just by the name.

That is quite the list of cookies!

I used to bake cookies around the holidays but no one really eats cookies anymore in my family so I stopped bothering. I miss it a little but I don't need to have cookies sitting around so I've got no reason to make them. I used to make chocolate chip ones half dipped in chocolate, frosted sugar cookies, jam thumbprints, an peanut butter blossoms.

Peanut Butter, cut-out sugar cookies, Magic in the Middle (a chocolate cookie with peanut butter in the middle), thumb prints, chocolate chip with chopped chocolate from a bar, and a Vegan Oatmeal.

    I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon
