I love Virginia...from the Blue Ridge Mountains to VA Beach! Also, Colonial Williamsburg/Jamestown are awesome places to learn some history. And Shenandoah National Park has great areas for hiking and camping. Virginia is also home to a variety of good colleges, including the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Here, you can tour Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson. Did you know that eight U.S. presidents were born in Virginia?

I live there. Blue Ridge Mountains. It's just like back home but further south and thus much warmer. Home of presidents, red-brick-white-column architecture, data centers in the north, a yoga commune or two in th ecenter, and coal mines in the southwest, with the Valley providing food and the coast providing beach time. I've been to the homes of all Virginia presidents (five were from Virginia when elected) and you can catch Woodrow Wilson up the road from me, and the only part of it I don't like is the paved parts, LOL

I only visited as a child over 30 years ago I don't remember it. My mom had a work conference there as well. I still have the VA Beach bunny tee shirt she gave me (it is tiny toddler size). I've given away tons of items in my life time but I cannot throw away that tee for some reason?
