It's been 1 year since my husband passed away. On that day, we were in the different countries. I got that terrible news from his sister. I couldn't get it and believe it,
Now I raise 2 kids. I don't know what to do without him.

Though all of us here have a common cause,no one can really experience one's own pain.Only that we can share our thoughts here to try and give strength to bear that loss.
It is certainly not easy to raise kids single handed.However, rather than lose hope, tell yourself that this is a war YOU WILL NOT LOSE because your husband taught you some things that you can use here.
Think of the happy times u two spent.They were times that should not give you sorrow but strength to move on.Dont brood,engage yourself in some activity beyond your job.Go deep into it and try to specialize in a part of it.Dont even expect sympathetic answers to your queries here.Close your eyes and tell yourself that you have unseen storage of energy that u will use to rebuild your life and bring up your children.

I have been advised that I will try to find an answer as to why Tracey was taken so suddenly, but no matter how hard I look, I will never find it. I agree that when the fog lifts, we feel even more lost and he pain seems more raw. This is because we are faced with the reality of our loss and we don't have that numbness to protect us from it. I feel angry when I look around and everyone has returned to their lives almost like she didnt exist and it hurts. If nothing else realise that we get it, we understand your pain and confusion, we know the emptiness you feel, so please don't be afraid to express it.

I understand I lost my husband 3 years ago. It's still pain for me and not a day goes by that I don't think about him. He so in my heart. I try to remember what we have and I feel he is still with me.
