hello, my name is Nicholas
I lost my wife on July 20th 2015 she was thirty-four. We had just been trying tor children when she got diagnosed with cervical cancer.
It was very aggressive she fought for a little more than a year before it took her. I was at work and she called me to ask me to come home to take care of her. I said ill be right there 15 min later i came home and she was already gone. FIFTEEN FUCKING MINS and i could have said goodbye to her maybe. We were high school sweet hearts we got married on the thirteenth anno of me asking her out, we we married almost six years. its a little over 6 weeks for me know and i think its really starting to sink in, im very lonely crying all the time. On the plus side im able to eat and sleep. Im also very hopeful because my love wanted me to be happy and i know that she would be OK with me doing whatever it takes to make that happen so i have no guilt about thinking about the future. Thanks for letting me rant

Not a rant. I've been where you're at. My wife Deyla and I were together for 10 and a half years... Married 6. Breast Cancer took her away from me. She was 34. Never a rant brother....never. Music helped me....three days grace, Linkin Park, Stand, etc... It sucks balls, but you gotta find a place for your head or it'll go dark.

I'm so sorry. I lost my 31 yr old fiance on June 24th and have been a wreck ever since. I laugh that I ever said the phrase "life's not fair" before this happened. I look at pictures of myself before he died and I think, that person has no idea what is in store. But I try to give myself props for surviving these first few months as you should too. As for saying goodbye, my fiance collapsed in the hallway and died quickly after I left for work so I never got to say goodbye but when that is really bothering me I just try to remind myself that I know he had no doubt how much I loved him and that seems to calm my pain just a little. Sending hugs to you.

Im sorry for your loss
