Hello. My name is Joe. I'm 30 and I just lost my wife of 1 year, LaShawn (age 32) on July 27, 2015. She and I had been together for 6 amazing years. She was everything to me. She always gave and gave, and made me a better person. She passed away right in front of me while in bed the following morning of our 1 year anniversary. Right now I'm still waiting to find out the reason she passed. Its still a mystery to me and to our family. I'm also stuck in limbo dealing with all the paperwork and debt collectors until they find a cause of her death.
Sometimes I can't control when I break down, and I keep thinking she is still here. I keep thinking that this a just a bad dream. All of our friends and family are doing their best to be with me and help me out. I don't know what to do right now or what I need to help me move on.
I'm just trying to keep my head above water right now, but it is still hard.

I'm so sorry to hear of your heartbreaking loss. It's all very new and you are probably in shock. Tomorrow will be 4 months since my husband died after a long battle with cancer. I don't know that this particular group is very active. You might find more support in some of the other widow/widower groups. Hang in there. kc
