never bought canned salmon why would you want bones in it?

We buy the wild caught sockeye salmon filets which almost never has bones.

We have bought it frozen at walmart in the past but not always. Get the wild caught. Farm raised is not good. The fish are raised in small pens and live in the filth of their own waste which makes them get disease easily so they have to give them antibiotics. The meat is not naturally red so they add more chemicals to make the meat red. I saw a documentary on farm raised fish and it was appalling to say the least. The Norway farm raised is the worst. They add powerful chemical pesticides but I can't remember what it's for.

I have never had canned salmon. Is it good to have bone in it?

It has more calcium with the bones.
I have Osteoporosis and am trying to eat
foods with more calcium.
