i have absolutely no idea what's on the menu this Thanksgiving, I can make just about anything but for some reason the holidays I think should have some form of tradition, I just don't feel like doing anything, my brother is having dinner at his house this year but I haven't gotten my invite yet but he knows how to call when he needs a someone to pick my nephew this week.

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

I bought the eggs I needed tonight at Wallyworld....got the cheese and cottage cheese as well....it is good stuff...very cheesy...buttery too....you need to add a couple TBS of flour to it to soak up some of the buttery grease....
I already had a box of frozen chopped spinach......
I will say I tried a new restaurant that just opened this week tuesday it is in the soft opening phase right now....Hook & Reel is a cajun seafood chain that we just got one of near my house.....it was on my pathway home from my 12 step meeting tonight so I decided to go in and ask if they did carry out....they had a separate desk for carry out right there in the front of the place by the door.....so I ordered one pound of scallops....in Hook & Reel special sauce....(its new restaurant and I thought I would try theirs first).....it was mild that I asked for but it did have a spicy kick to it....but it was good and the scallops were cooked perfect....yummie and plenty....had two potatoes and a section of corn on cob in the sauce of the meal which is what went on my shirt tonight....but the sauce was plentiful that is for sure....and greasy on my shirt and had a red color stain in my shirt when it went in and came out first time from washer...washed it again second time but have not pulled it out yet to see if stain gone....did not run it in dryer yet....want stain gone before it goes into dryer....
Anyway, cbreez, I know how you feel. I often don't get invited to things by my friends. I have to invite myself. It's always been that way. They always seem to be glad I showed up, but they often forget to invite me. One friend told me a few years ago that he would never forgive me for not attending his wedding. I told him sorry, but I was never invited to your wedding.
Sometimes people just assume we know we are welcome. Why don't you make up a Crock-Pot of mulled wine and bring it over to your brother's?
Thanksgiving is going to be weird this year. My fiance's dad invited us. I actually want to go this time because his papaw will be there and I've never met him. I don't think we are bringing anything. Thing is, they are having their Thanksgiving this Saturday at 2. I've never had a job where I wasn't off for Thanksgiving, or a job where I was off on Saturday. But I guess that is their schedule, so we will try to go but show up late. His dad cooks rather odd things usually, we will see how he puts his twist on Thanksgiving.
My mom and brother and his girlfriend always have Thanksgiving at my house. My fiance has to work part of a day that day so he won't be here to help me cook.
We usually have turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, yams, rolls, and something green, either green beans, green bean casserole, or broccoli casserole. Sometimes we have 3 bean salad, and we always have deviled eggs and cranberry relish.
