Not sure if I've posted in this group before but I wrote this poem a wee while ago and thought it fitted this group.

Not Alone.

This goes out to every broken girl who cries to the night
This song is for you my sister, for you
This goes to every boy insecure in himself
This song is for you my brother, for you

They seek to find your weakness and tear you down
Oh they steal away your smile and leave you with a frown
Leaving you so lonely oh so lonely
Believing you're the only one...

Well listen and believe me
When I say I am here, you're not alone
You have kindred do not fear
There are more of us, you're not alone.

This goes out to every girl who cuts away her skin

This goes out to every boy drowning at the bottom of a bottle
This song is for you my brother for you

They call you worthless, burn out, drop out, nothing
But know that again you can be more

You are not alone brothers and sisters
I too have drowned alone in a bottle
And been hypnotized by the the razor's call.
You have kindred do not fear
There are more of us and you are not alone.
