God’s or Jesus's (they are one ) love is not like ours. Human love is an intense affection for another person based on feelings that can change from moment to moment. In contrast, divine love is unconditional because it is based on God’s nature.
In The Bible JESUS says "take courage! I have overcome the world.” Notice that He didn't say, “I will overcome,” but rather, “I have overcome.” In Christ, the victory has already been won. He has victory over all things. Even the world’s greatest threat, death itself, has already been defeated by Jesus Christ.
Life certainly isn't easy. However, we have a loving God who not only understands our suffering but also chose to experience it Himself. Because He did, we can now claim participation in the ultimate victory over every trial of life.
My prayers are with you that GOD may strengthen your faith so that you focus on HIM & not Satan .
Satan wants you to worry about him but God wants you to be filled with HIS peace & joy .
Keep me updated on how you feel so that I can encourage you .
Ephesians 3:16-19 (NLT)
"I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. (17) Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. (18) And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, and how deep his love is. (19) May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all fullness of life and power that comes from God."
I will pray for you to feel God's love. Hugs!
I keep trying to add a picture for my avatar but it does not go through .
First, we all go through doubts at various times. But, God never leaves us or forsakes us. (Hebrews 13:5).
Even if we look away from him, he is right there waiting. When I got hit hard with Rheumatoid Arthritis, plus I had some of Job's friends accusing me, because I wasn't healed, I went into a tail spin,. I had been a strong Christians for 20 years at this point. I read my Bible daily, went to church and prayed.
I got angry at God and turned away from him. I stopped going to church, reading my Bible and praying. I turned my face to the wall, like Hezekiah.
Well, God was always there., He was right behind me. After he let me have my temper tantrum, he told me to pick up the Bible, and just read 5 Psalms a day. I wouldn't do it. But, God is a faithful Father, and he never gave up on me. It took 2 years, but I finally started reading.
What I found were people going through trials but praising God anyway, I found people praising God for who he is. And I also began to realize, again, how much Jesus loved me. I read 5 Psalms a day for 2 years. And God did a work in my heart.
God called me to a little church, where the pastor was encouraging the young men to go to seminary, God spoke and told me I had to go to seminary. (This was the second time, I had disobeyed earlier!)
So, I went to learn the Bible more, and God did the most amazing work in my life. He gave me tools for ministry, too.
And he gave me the confidence to trust him at all times. I meditated on this passage for years, every morning.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Prov. 3:5-6
Memorize those verses, and say them every morning before you get up. It will encourage you that when you trust God, because you know him, and more importantly, he knows you - he will be there no matter what!
Or, read the Bible and see what God gives you, for a life verse.
Seeing this late. Sorry. The others are right. Jesus loves you . I think the devil tries to convince us that Jesus doesn't love us and that we're not truly saved. Depression can also make us doubt our relationship with God.
Meditate on the scripture above from Ephesians. I'll keep you in my prayers. God bless.
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you [a]will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Luke 11:11-13 New Living Translation (NLT)
11 “You fathers—if your children ask[a]for a fish, do you give them a snake instead? 12 Or if they ask for an egg, do you give them a scorpion? Of course not! 13 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”
1 Corinthians 14:33 New Living Translation (NLT)
33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people.
Romans 8:31-32 Amplified Bible (AMP)
31 What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?32 He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?
I could quote more scripture, but I hope and pray these work.
If not, lets connect and talk.
I empathize with what you are currently experiencing and wish to offer you comfort. What you described about being spirituality drained is how we get attacked at times. Thankfully this passes when we keep our eyes steady on our lord and savior. We might be required to go through these trials as when we come out of them we are more able to understand and appreciate certain truths we would otherwise be unable to grasp. Remind yourself that this too shall pass and that you have been called by a great and mighty God who is love and who will evelope you in that comforting reassuring love if you seek him with all of your heart mind and strength. The greatest moments of finding the rest and comfort is on the other side of such trials. Look at it as an opportunity God is presenting you for you to seek him no matter what. No matter if you're tiered battered and beaten down you will still seek him. God is full of mercy and love that he rejoices in your shoeing him you choose and love him in the dark. That is when he is most pleased and it is his pleasure to lift you out of that. I pray you continue to find the strength to look up at our heavenly father and ask him how to give you strength understanding and courage to continue especially those moments you know you cannot under your own strength. Ask him for his grace (power) and he will ablige. Believe me from my own testimony I have received his grace in this very manner. GOD Bless you!
