Hi, my name is Amanda and I'm 32 and I found this site, I've actually have wanted to join a group for this for years but never did it, I'm guessing because I was to afraid to, or some other reasons, Im guessing I'm just scared to death, but I'm trying to over come that right now

My name is Shaneen I'm a 24 year old South African girl currently living in Dubai. I was diagnosed with a "disability" when u was 17, as my doctor wasn't very informative, but I was also you'd and naiive and didn't really know what types of questions to ask or what was really wrong with me. I just recall my doctor saying he has never come across something like this and would need to consult other doctors for advise on my disability. As you can imagine I left the doctors room and have had those words running thru my mind often. My relationship with my mom and sisters is also non existent. I recently stumbled across a you tube video where a your girl speaks about having MRKH Syndrome, I couldn't believe that my disability had a name, on hat there were more girls with it. As much as my heart breaks for every single girls with it u can't tell you the comfort I feel of not being alone like it was just something wrong with me. Ive been hiding behind this since I heard I dont allow anyone to get to close as I dont trust anyone, like I don't want anyone to know my big secret. I'm glad I don't have to hide here.

Hi, my name is Crystal, I'm 33 years old and just now seeking support. I've had this embarrassing secret for so long I've learned to hide it very well. Thinking I was "one in a million", I have never wanted to express my feelings to my mother, sister or best friend, even though I know they would be supportive. I am currently seeking surgical intervention, so far without luck. I feel so much better knowing that I'm not alone, although I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I am generally a very positive person, which has been what has gotten me through this but I guess any secret that holds so much shame will eventually weigh a person down. I'm always here if anyone wants to chat.
