Hi Ladies-
I wanted to share with you one of my new finds. Maybe you ladies have heard of Dream Dinners maybe you haven't. I work fulltime so cooking has always been a challenge after a long day. I love to cook but the planning part of it exhausted me, I found that I would get comfortable with certain meals and make them over and over again, until I heard about dream dinners.
Dream dinners is a place that you go to, to prepare your meals to cook later. Every month they have different meal choice's to choose from. You can check out their website @ www.Dreamdinners.com. I was a little nervous at first thinking it was going to be low quality food. Just the opposite. The food is high quality and fresh. It's also introduced me to different recipes that I probably would not have tried on my own. Thats another great thing about is that you don't have to buy all the ingredients that you may never use again for just one recipe. Oh, and they clean up after you as well. So no clean up after you've put your meal togehter. It's really a lot of fun, I've even taking my husband with me to help.
You may wonder about the cost, it's about $3-$5 per serving. So if you put togher a 6 serving dinner it would cost you between $18-$30. You can't go to McDonalds for that. Check it out!! They are all over the US.

I really, truly live in Podunk, U.S.A., *sigh* No Dream Dinner for me. Thank God for the invention of the crock pot.

I'd heard of it before but never really thought it was something that I needed. But I just went in and looked at the site. We have one just 12 miles from me. I think that might be something nice for me and my daughters to do together. Thanks I might just do it.

i need to lose 20 pounds. y'all have any ideas. when i was flying i stayed about the same. about 120 or so. now i'm 140 and i look like i have chestnuts in my cheeks. i picked up some photos today and HOLY SHIT! who let her out of the barn! jeeze!

Oh that sounded so yummy but i put in my zip code and they said the closest locatin was in Utah 300.00 miles away! LOL

I had a girl friend do that. I didn;t have the time to go with her but she absolutly loved it because of here schedule. She also was a bad cook. lol She let me taste and it was delicious.

Darn, they're doing maintainence. But I intend to check it out. Is it anything like Scwabs - sp? - they have a book to order from, and deliver what is real food? I don't know if they're all over the US or not...

i'm not sure what scwabs is - you don't order from a book and they don't deliver as of yet. You actually go there and put your dinners together yourself. It's great because if you like a little more or a little less of a certain ingredient you can improvise.
