me2 I'm lookng forward for spring to come

I'm dreading Spring and Summer, just so hot and humid.

Spring and summer is beautiful here in Mississippi. On the other hand,
the humidity is overwhelming. I try to be thankful - it could be worse.
I already have spring fever - yellow bells blooming and daffodils up -
high tomorrrow is 72.

My favourite seasons are spring and autumn. I get uncomfortable in the hot weather. It is summer here now and I get up as early as possible to take advantage of the 3 hour window of opportunity to get things done before it gets unbearably hot.

Well, there is a winter storm watch in effect here for tonight and tomorrow. High winds, snow and ice. Oh boy ... NOT. Although I do not mind it much if I don't have to leave the house and can just watch it through the window. There is something about big, fat flakes coming down and snow swirling ... while the ground and roofs turn all white that makes the world seem so surreal.

However, I can't stand the cold and I can't stand the heat. Yes, Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons too.

I'm in Michigan and it has been rough. We've have a LOT of snow and there is a big shortage of salt. Also with the economy basically in ruins they can't pay people to plow. So the streets and roads are a mess and it has been really, really cold.
So yes, please put me on the list of those who want winter to be over!!!

We're in the middle of a record breaking heat wave at the moment. 20 people died yesterday due to the heat, non airconditioned homes and not drinking. Winter for us is just cold and if we're lucky a little bit of rain - no snow so it's quite pleasant.
