Stay up North Yankee

The South isn't for everyone and that's totally OK !

Sure, you might want to visit for Mardi Gras, however the heat
would eventually get to you and the food is just too damn spicy !

You prefer your tea unsweetened and the sight of
the Confederate flag would totally get on your nerves !

Nope! Stay up North, Yankee! That's funny to me because my family is originally from South Carolina and Georgia. I moved to Chicago when I was 15, I guess I now qualify as a Yankee lol. When I went to visit my mom recently in South Carolina I was all excited to order a biscuit with my breakfast, because that is one option we don't get in Chicago. She asked me if I wanted my biscuit plain or grilled. I had no idea what she was talking about. I'd never heard of a grilled biscuit before! I was a little embarrassed and the waitress looked slightly amused. I realized then I am no longer Southern.
