That I always give others hugs when I am leaving and love meeting new people I do talk to strangers too. LOL

I still have Christmas lights (snowmen) up in my dining room because the cats like to play with them.

aww Elsie.. that's so sweet...I have high facial recognition...I had a test done just for laughs and passed at one of the highest results at the university.. It will be useful if I ever witness a crime, but other than that I cant think what I could use it for lol XXX

I was a bank teller. Four block away they were making the movie "Mr. Holland's Opus" at a local high school starring Richard Dryfuss. At lunch time I was robbed at the bank. The robber had an accomplice waiting in a van outside. Just happens police were parked on a building top across the street from the bank. Our alarm went off in the bank, money had a tracker in it, plus a dye pack. The dye pack exploded, sirens were blaring, so the robbers, ditched the van and headed for the high school where they could get lost among all the people. They split up & the driver of the van escaped. The one who robbed me, ran to the high school and jumped into an outside pool, he was ordered out of the pool because he had cloths on, (no one knew he was wanted by the police yet) so he jumped into the "stars" lunch line. Police arrive and start the hunt for the robber. A bodyguard to one of the stars finally realized what was happening and attacked the robber taking him to the ground. Well, the police got their 'perp' and brought him to me at the bank for ID, keeping me hidden from his view. He was a mess, he confessed and I didn't have to testify at a federal trial. :-)) They could have made a movie of that event!!!!

My story is a true one. The star, who's bodyguard was the hero……was Olympia Dukakis. All the info told to me was from the police dept.

Oh my goodness Jean, what a day that was.. Gosh honey I would have gone to pieces, so pleased you were ok.. And then all the drama inside that drama with the bodyguard and the thief.. it should be a film in itself honey as you said.. XXX

Clay, I have lived so long and have had so many events…… LOL, this is old stuff that I normally never think about.

I must admit, LOL, I almost wet my pants from fear, but the teller training kicked in and I did what we were taught to do….meetings every week on security and bank robbery procedures….really works.

The FBI and my superiors isolated me so I could write my story and give a description. Once isolated they calm you down, so the fear leaves, but the shakes take over. LOL!! Anybody for a Martini shaken not stirred?

I was given a free lunch and the rest of the day off, thank goodness. When I came back they kept me out of a teller window, for a week, to recover.

Really, being a teller is normally a safe job and the atmosphere can be so great.
