I was five. But I remember telling my mom I didn't think he was real, and she read me "Yes, Virginia". So even though I didn't really believe he was real, I decided to still find joy in the idea of Santa Claus. To this day, my mom still gives me gifts marked "From Santa Claus" ( :

Four..because I was scared that a strange man was going to come into my house lol..my mum rang bells outside my bedroom door the Christmas before my fifth birthday and a shot out of bed screaming..lol..my parents love to tell everyone this story..lol XXX

I was in the 4th grade. I was in school. Some kid told me. I waited to cry until I got home. My dear Grams told me that day that as long as I believe he would always be in my life. I raised my children to know that as long as they believe he will always come. They taught their children the same thing. My grandchildren will ask me about Santa. I tell them what I believe. Santa is real.
