Hahaha, LJ I'm only one person & I still do laundry on an average of everyday!!! Cannot believe I can create so many dirty clothes all by myself!!! :-))

I feel like mine is never done too! Just two of us and I do laundry for a little 101 (will be 102 in Sept) man twice a month, it seems it never is caught up unless I wash almost everyday.

I think the laundry has a code and mind of it's own and it's in cahoots with the missing socks that the washer and/or dryer eats. I have a huge stack of those and no clue where the mates are.

I imagine the clothes jumping out of the drawers and closets while we sleep and racing for the dirty laundry hamper or hiding out in strange places, like the bathroom, under the bed, etc. It's quite amusing actually to think of the clothes playing little tricks on us! LOL..

Whatever the story; laundry is always needing to be done in my house and some of it looks SO much like what i just put away, like towels, etc. and still looks clean! But, if it wants another swim and blow dry, that's cool. If they catch me on a bad day, I might just toss them at the trash can!!

There are two cats in my household and I would blame it on the cat (I'm typing this and trying to cover the screen so my one cat on the desk here doesn't see it and give me the stink face and maybe a whack in the head).

You'll probably find that after you go to sleep, the cat is stepping out on the town and wearing some fine clothes and they're in your laundry and you haven't seen them yet. Normally, you don't notice them in the washer and dryer and the cat always gets them out of your dryer before you get there.

LOL - this is a great subject. What I want to know Lori - is why the little 101 year old man only needs his laundry 2 times a month.

I'm with the rest of you - I'm alone and yet I have laundry in my closet, in my washroom and towels in my bathroom to wash. I do a load daily and yet it just keeps piling up.
