oh man - that is just so sweet. I didn't know that whales wanted to have buddies but this whale sure is trying to connect with the dog.

Interesting how the whale would let the boat get a little bit away so that he could get more momentum to get closer to the dog. That requires a thought process - I guess whales are not just stupid animals - actually I don't think any animals are stupid - they just communicate differently than we do.
