Dennis has opted for Chemo and Radiation Therapy. With an opt out if it isn't working or it just plain becomes more than he can handle....With the emphysema and all. The doc said that the side effects would more than likely be intensified because of the emphysema. They will be putting three ports in tomorrow....Tracheotomy, a feeding port and a chemo port. They said the radiation and chemo would close off his throat. He will lose his beard and mustache....I have NEVER seen him with out a Mustache and he has had the beard for over 25 years.
