WE WERE IN SCOTTSDALE AZ. i TOOK OFF WORK TO TAKE CARE OF MY GRANDDAUGHTER WHO HAD A HIGH FEVER. THE NEWS CAME ON AND I GOT HER OUT OF BED AND SET UP ON THE COUCH. WE SAT IN DISBELIEF ALL DAY AS WE WATCHED IN TERROR. HUBBY WAS OUT OF TOWN.

My husband and I walked early in the morning. We were three hours earlier than New York.
We usually stopped at a coffee shop before going home. As we walked into the shop we heard a radio with the sound turned way up. What's going on? The owner shared with us what had happened. We didn't stay for coffee but walked quickly home to watch this event on TV.
One of life's events that you clearly remember where you were when you heard what had happened.

Working in my husband's pub - my customers stayed in the pub and we watched it repeatedly through the day in shock, horror and disbelief. Was surprised the customers didn't go home, it was comforting.

We were at home, just woke up and turned on the t.v. After getting the boys fed and my coffee. I couldn't really believe what I was seeing. It's still hard to believe this happened to us. Worlds never been the same.
