I have a chaise lounge that belonged to my great grandparents. When I was little I would get up on it and poke my butt up in the air and go to sleep. My husband just recovered it for me and when he took everything a part there was a message there from my great uncle who had made it for them. I would never part with it that is for sure.

I have a beautiful crucifix that my Great Aunt Mary gave to me when I was a baby. I'm 65 now, so that's probably the oldest thing I own that really matters to me. : )

A enamelled St Christopher give to my mom on her 18th birthday, 76 years old, the only piece of jewellery I had of hers.

The oldest PERSONAL item I own (not purchased from an antique store) is a Madame Alexander baby doll I got when I was 1.5 years old. I still have all of her clothes too.

My mom has a lot of things that belonged to her mom and grandmother. I do have a quilt that is very old, but do not know how old.

I also have a book about Jesus that was giving to my GreadGrandmother in 1856.
