I don't think we can have good without evil, light without dark, happiness without sorrow. I remember when I was a caretaker for my mom, it was so hard as I wasn't a patient person and I was always questioning God, why he allow this to happen to me and my mom..........then my husband was diagnosed with PD and as his YOPD progressed I really began to understand why he put me in a position to develop patience and to get into the word ever day, and to learn how to lean on him thru tough times.
Now with the death of my husband and the intense grief I question again the why, only this time I know that I will at some point come out of this healthy and strong. I also know that there is a reason, and like it or not it is for His reason and His time. Hope I didn't ramble to much. Hugs to all. Katrina
I know God did not cause my husbands cancer, but gave him the peace a grace to endure it. I took me a little longer to get there. today is 8 months and I am ok. I know the waves will come again but I feel stronger and in such a better place. I know God is with me and giving me comfort.
Hugs

It is wise not to let our thoughts wrestle with those things.
