One book I have been reading is by Randy Alcorn called Heaven. I aldo watch a program called The Sheaperds Chapel. On you tube look up Chip Ingrim and his sermons on heaven. Also John McArthur on you tube. There are others. One in particular I cant recall his name right now. Will put it here when I remember it. Growing up it seemed that discussion on heaven qas so rare in churches. So now we are left with so many qeustions about it. Its a shame we know little about our eternal home.
Take care. Tim
Just stay in your faith.
Peace. Tim

I shall no longer to this life awake.
A golden cord instead there’ll be,
The one that binds you to me.
I shall be safe at last
The ship berthed, the storm past.
No more grief no more tears
The space apart will not be years
Brief separation – nothing more
When I step at last upon that shore.
All things at last made clear
When I see you again my dear
Let us sit then and feel the sea
Wash over us, cleanse us, we shall be
United once more - together and free.
Tears shall belong to a past
Half remembered like a dream
Half forgotten, like rain unseen
No more to sear my soul in pain.
My journey over, I shall be home again.
Think about it, why would god create us in his image, and then just wipe us out.. he would never do that, there is a greater, more grand place, than this physical place, called: "earth". Sorry if I offfended, but it is just my experience, and opinion.
Much love and hugs, carla
I truly believe I will see my husband again and each day brings me closer to him.
I am back. I have been doing a great deal of research on Heaven after losing my wife on 08/28/2015. I guess my goal has been to try to find out where she is at present. That stems from the simple fact she was here for so long and then gone in a moment.
Most people think Heaven is up in the sky somewhere. After much research, I believe it is another dimension around us that we cannot see. I believe our loved ones are there and can see us and hear us from time to time. The book " Heaven " by Randy Alcorn sites bible passages explaining this possibility. I also believe they can communicate with us in small or limited ways if we are opening to hearing from them and it may be something as simple as a butterfly or a bird or a coin on the street in front of us. I do believe we shall see them again when it is our time to go.
There is a riddle given to Jesus about marriage in Heaven that leads many people to believe there will be no marriage in Heaven. But I don't agree. I think we shall be with our spouses and it may be different than marriage here in this life. There will be no need for a sexual relationship as there will be no need to procreate. But, it is my belief that God would want us to be with our spouses. If we
loved each other in this life, why would God want to deprive us of loving each other in Heaven. But I also believe it will be different. Simply put, I believe we shall be with our spouses in Heaven
and shall love each other but all of us in Heaven shall spend our time loving God. After reading so much, I have reached that conclusion. I believe God would want us to continue the love we have in this life but without all of the burdens of life as we know it. No anger. No stress or jealousy or
disease or other nonsense. Just love. And I believe God would want us to continue to love one
another and, above all, love Him. Doesn't make sense to me that God would not want us to be
with our spouses and / or not love our spouses. I think that is a small part of the " reward " for being in Heaven. It is love in the presence of God.
Well, that is my two cents on the subject. Blessings to all -

I believe it is a paradise with " streets of gold " in that dimension I mentioned. When I mentioned dimension, I don't believe it is a state of suspension. I believe the dimension is full in every way and we just can't see it. I believe our lost loved ones are with other lost loved ones in our lives and from their lives. But I also believe it is possible we are not supposed to have a clear understanding of it.
My husband died end of Jan '17. And I'm not sure where he went. This makes things much worse. He was crying for Jesus' help as I entered the hospital room one time. And he was baptized. Anyway, about 6 days after he was cremated, I had fallen asleep in my car. At around 4:30 am I rose up from the seat just in time to meet someone passing by my side view mirror and peeking in. I only saw out of the corner of my eye cause I was a little taken back trying to hide having just woken up. When I looked back to see if anyone had really passed there was nothing. Now it could have not really happened but I would like to think it was real and it was his ghost. The more I thought on it I realized he had his gait. But the reason I bring it up is this person (he) seemed absolutely elated as they looked over at me, with a pep in their step! But I was in utter misery at that time having cried myself to sleep -- I was suffering his loss... still in disbelief and stunned from his death.
