I think it's so wonderful that Joe and Liz have found each other. I know that they are both level headed and will continue to have God first in their lives. Who are we to say when someone should fall in love. They have kept their hearts open to what God has planned for them. For me it gives me hope that perhaps one day I will meet someone, fall in love and get married again. My husband & I discussed that and he said that he wanted me to one day get married again and I told him that if I were to go first I would want the same for him.

So, Joe and Liz, may God continue to be the center of your relationship.

I am sure you are right. But I know that I was far from being level "anything" (let alone "level headed") when I was just 5 months into my grieving....
I was just surprised because I have been out of touch with the group lately, busy with work and my computer has been acting up.
I know that you know much more of the situation than I do. I pray that they will be very happy together.

Hi, De ~ I appreciate your concerns and I welcome your prayers on our behalf. I will not attempt to explain what is happening between Joe and me, but we BOTH believe that God is working and we have placed our lives & our futures, both as individuals & as a couple in HIS hands...I have spoken with my Pastor & a Christian therapist on more than one occasion, both have offered me support and encouragement and both see this as a blessing from God...both have told me that grief is different for everyone and there is no set schedule...EVERYONE processes their emotions differently; What works for me may not work for anyone else & vice versa...I have also prayed on a DAILY basis ever since Joe & I began to feel/sense a connection beginning to occur...GOD has given me PEACE about this...and I TRUST HIM IMPLICITLY....I DO NOT nor have I ever given my heart lightly; I'm not one to play games with my heart or any one else's.

If it makes you feel any better, we have not set a date yet...we're still getting to know one another better...but we do have plans to marry ...we love each other, but we are willing to let GOD lead us in HIS PERFECT TIMING...I thank you sincerely for your well-wishes...and I hope you WILL continue to pray for us.

Wow..........I was surprised..............sounds like you and Joe have put God first .................and His will for you and that is great.............blessings upon blessings to you..................love your avitar..............I made a quick decission two months after Norm died.......bought a lot in WI......about a mile from my son and familyt.........people thought I did it too fast but Norm and I had talked about what would be best for the other when one died...........and I had perfect peace, and just the right amount of money to purchase the lot..........now.....I may never sell this house and move....lol....but I"m ok with that too......lol...........just looking to stay in God's will...........he makes better plans that I do................lol

I send my fondest wishes to both of you for a happy life together. If God is in charge, everything always turns out right. I know the Lord placed Larry and I together. We aren't planing anything permanent now, but sure are enjoying the time we have together. I would have said I would never date a year ago, but I've learned only God knows what tomorrow brings.
