My 13 yr. old granddaughter had her 4th surgery on her wrist today, which was severely injured 3 yrs. ago in a fall from 15 ft. high. (At the time, broke both arms, but left was more severe.) They scheduled this complicated procedure as "outpatient" and sent her home right away this afternoon. She was nearly hysterical with pain - made me upset just hearing her. She isn't one to do this w/o good reason. They have just taken her back to the hospital so they can give her more pain med & help her calm down. I think she will spend the nite at the hospital. This is a very hard time for her; she is a competitive swimmer and an accomplished violinist. She really needs use of this arm. She had a bone grafted onto her bone below her thumb, held in place by a metal plate, screws etc. Please pray for her - Thanks,
