Good Luck with the headstone. I'm glad the Pharmaicist was helpful. Brighter days are ahead. Hugs, Dolores
Monday I had one of those. A dental plate that should have been ready in January took an extra 2 months to be delivered and was so ill-fitting that it cut an inch long trench in my mouth. I couldn't feel it until the lidocaine wore off. My disappointment, frustration and physical pain knocked me down for the rest of the day. Nothing I'd planned to do was accomplished.
But Tuesday came and I dealt with the dental dilemma by returning the plate and telling my dentist that we needed to take it from the top and get it right. After that I came home to tackle the chores that had patiently waited for me.
My point is that I now see my daily plans as wish lists. When I have an unproductive day I think it's okay for me to ignore what I wanted to do and roll with the emotions that I'm feeling. I figure that sooner or later I'll get around to whatever needs to be done and that has to be good enough for now.
I hope this post helps you to deal with the inevitable two-steps-back days. It helped me to read about yours and know that I'm not alone. Thank you for sharing. We may be moving slowly, but at least we're still moving!
Hugs to you, my friend.

I will also try Grief Share. Hugs and sunshine.
