I wanted to share a expereince I had awhile back.  I was having breakfast in a restaurant with a dear friend who is a native elder in her community and someone who I have the deepest respect for,  She told me a time a few years earlier where she collapsed from a heart attack and was clinicaly dead for several minutes.  She said as that was going on she vsited a place where she has never felt such unconditional love and acceptance her entire life.  She started to cry reliving that love which she says she never expereinced on earth.  She says no human word exists to describe the love she expereinced.  Watching her weep I couldnt help but feel on some level what she has expereinced.  I often think back to that breakfast when I start to miss my spouse and find gratitude in knowing she is in such a loving place.  I also think to myself I have work to do to earn such a special place for myself in the future.  When I think what is our purpose in life.  Its to grab each moment and be a instrument of love even in the smallest of ways.  We have been blessed with expereincing uncondional love through our spouses and what joy that brings.  I cant even imagine the uncondional love of God.  It is so easy to get distracted in this crazy world we live in, but all we really are being asked is to love and respect our God and each other.
