Hi everyone: I am sorry I have been away from here for awhile. Life can be such a huge distraction. With this virus spreading throughout the world we need the support of each other and God more than ever. Needless to say many people are becoming widowed everyday. It is my hope those further in the journey can help the newer ones. Although this site is not that active now I believe God will help those that need this site to find it.. For now I will share a short totally true story with you in hope of providing comfort.

My daughter is a nurses aide on the night shift in a nursing home. 2 nights ago most of her residents were up during the night claiming to see angels and family members that had passed. Some were talking with mothers, spouses, children etc. When my daughter told me this it occurred to me all of us have angels walking with us including our spouses! I have done stuff in the last week I know I am not capable of without angels and Gods help. If you are feeling stressed or alone I can 100% promise you that you are not.

I love you all my brothers and sisters. I will try my best to post here everyday and encourage others to do so in order to rebuild this site and show the love for each other God wants us. God bless. Gerry

I believe someone has been with me as I go out to do the necessary things that need to get done. I have had to stock up and keep finding the perfect items to get me through this time. I also feel protected even though having to interact with people. I am isolating as much as possible but walk up the street to have a Tim's coffee most days but think I will have to stop that. I will become a tea drinker! I hope this group will become more active as it is such a comfort to be able to support each other. (((Hugs)))

Hi Veronica and welcome back. I totally understand what you say about feeling protected. I definitely feel spirits/guardian angels are walking with me in these times. Although the times are scary for many I believe with all my heart if we listen with our hearts and souls God will direct us in what we need to do and not do. We just have to listen and open our hearts to love others as he would want us to do. God bless and thank you for posting.

I am having a pretty solid social distancing... in my way.

I sing songs out my backdoor to the world. I smile at strangers and wish them a good day.

I am starting my own little seeds that will blast color and food to my home and those around me. Adding to my clipping garden and sharing of excess plants.

The sun is shining and it's a great day to put up a line and hang out the sheets.

Good morning.

Well this morning we have snow. A good inch or so fell last night..
So what to do?
I am trying to be thankful that the newly blooming allergy inducing greenery has just been washed or stomped into the ground by the Creator' s good buddy Mother Nature. Will this make social distancing easier? or the support of others on my list harder.?
Prayers up for those that must travel.
My son in law and daughter , a trucker and dispatcher coordinating the delivery of the supply chain.

My Brother in Law and his sons traveling the 60 miles for vascular surgery to help the circulation needed to prevent the loss of his foot.
To the health care workers who will be on the job for all of us.

Thank you to the communities coming together even in their own personal space. We have many making masks for visitors and personnel out of quilting size pieces and donating to our local hospitals and care facilities.
Thank you DS for continued community support.

I’ve taken this time of physical distancing an opportunity to slow down and spend time praying. I’m working on a stronger relationship with God because that will build the foundation of life on a solid rock.

Glad to see this site is becoming active again. I don’t stop by often but glad I did today. I’ve just spent the past 4 days alone, the most time I’ve spent alone in I don’t know how long. Normally I’m not good being alone but I’ve been fine, other than the concern for the state of our world. Guess someone may be lurking around and that’s why I’m good. I’m grateful for our extraordinary health care workers and first responders who put others before themselves and their families. I ask God, no beseech God, to be with us at this time and provide us with the answers we so desperately need. I feel God working in this situation. I know, just as during other very dark days we have endured, that he will never abandon us and I look to him for my comfort and trust that he will always provide that. His grace has carried me every day since I lost my husband, I know he will continue to do so. Amen and God bless every one of us
