I hoped life would change for her. I prayed for a Grandchild for her . I knew it might help.It didn't happen right away but just recently her other son and his wife had a new baby. My friend is at their home now for a few months enjoying her new Grandson..

In over-all bible teaching "the rain falls on the just AND the unjust" or, on both good and bad people.
On a personal and subjective level, there have been times when my feelings told me differently.
unfortunately, every one of will eventually die. which will leave survivors behind for any of us who are loved by other people.
being left here when someone dies is so very painful. and the reason is, it was not part of Gods original plan. but it ensures that we will not I've forever on earth in a fallen condition and with suffering. it opens the door to those who are His to get new bodies and be freed from the inevitable suffering which happens here either physically or from other peoples bad behavior.- or both, in many various ways.
I am sorry, (or maybe you are fortunate) but I can't give a thorough teaching on this principle.
I, too am in the grief condition. today was our marriage anniversary, plus I am not physically well and it limits my ability to focus strongly.
This year, I have also struggled at times with dark accusations. but I know in my faith-heart that those are lies from the devil, or from the pit of hell. Take a stand against them by saying "I come against you in the name of Christ, and by His blood, LEAVE me now" to the dark voices which attack you.
they will try repeatedly, but use Jesus Christ's name and blood to command them to Go away.
"They overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony"
The accuser of the brethren is the devil. certainly not God, who died for our sins.
Revelation verses 10 & 11: Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
There are no words to make this better for any of us. We are Christians living in a fallen creation which means physical death is a part of it. I have lost all my family now. My parents, grandparents, cousins. Now my wife so like you I have been looking into the book of Job also. God blessed you with your son and he was sent to you for a reason. He knew you would love him and take care of him during his time on earth. It still hurts to loose them but we have to hold onto and not just believe but make that transition into knowing we will see them again at our time.
The comfort we have to recieve is to know they are not to ever hurt or get sick ever again for eternity. My prayers are with you. I do believe your son understood your teaching him about Jesus and the Lord God. His soul and spirit understood you.
Peace, Tim
If you tried your best to be a good wife and mother, then you WERE a good wife and mother. Anyone less than that would never even have tried. Please don't be so hard on yourself. I have read so many of your posts & responses here, and I have always seen the caring, kind, and compassionate person that you are.
Wishing you peace ...
Sorry for both your losses!!! It seems extremely harsh to also lose your son, but, for some reason, known to God ~~ it must have been His plan. I'm sure it feels like you have been left to face life by yourself, but, you do have Jesus!! He will help you through this new pain and grief.
Be gentle with yourself.....Jesus is with you and probably carrying you at this time. You also have friends here to "talk" with. Again, so sorry for your losses!!
Blessings, Joely
