I am getting ready for church also. Last night we had a communion service, which was very humbling. I almost didn't go because I was crying most of the day yesterday and then in service. Sad for my own losses, but also heartbroken over my son ending his marriage of one year. I suppose his wife is at fault too, but I would give everything I own to be married again. This afternoon I am going to some friends' house for dinner. Then back to church tonight. Hope you find some peace.

You are right we carry them in our hearts forever. God will ultimately guide you to a place of peace. Possibly not this Easter or the next but he truly has tremendous healing power. Sending you a big Canadian hug. I truly remember how painful those early days of grief were. God bless.

I lost my husband of 32+ years the day before Easter 2011. This season is the hardest for me. Wondering where you live?
