As Christmas draws closer, some friends and his family are calling in and checking in on me and inviting me to do things to the point where I almost feel bombarded.  Where were these people in August, September and October? Funny thing is I feel more alone than ever. Maybe it is just the season. Yesterday on my drive home I was talking to God about how I was feeling and tears were rolling down my cheeks and all I kept thinking about is why? and if I could turn back time as to not have to feel any of this pain and sadness. I got home and was thinking about just a quiet evening at home when I received a phone call  invite to dinner. Part of me was so tired I just wanted to say "no" but I felt a nudging to say yes. God was answering my prayers but not what I wanted.  His will be done not mine so easy to forget that. Tonight I was supposed to go to bible study but was not sure of timing because we had just finished a series. I was waiting for the email thinking to myself I am just so tired even if there is a study I may skip this week. Low and behold the email came after that saying we are going to take a break until January.  Once again God answered my prayer.  Thank you Jesus for you do know what is best for me even when I do not see it myself.  Dinner was wonderful  and tonight the rest will be thankfully appreciated in my prayers. May this season draw you near to the comfort of our Lord.
