I believe, you have the strength to accept whatever happens.
I'm praying for the love you both have for each other to be so strong, that nothing can break it. Does he love yours much as you love him? It seems strange that you both have decided on a date to determine such a profound decision.
Sorry if I'm being blunt....I'm thinking if you, during this time,

I'll just say that we both needed that space to work on ourselves and to "figure things out". This guy LOVES me! As much as I love him! We both have a past and allowed it to jade out present, rather than accept the present as good and just praise God! We are taking it slow!!! I don't need or want for anything and God knows that. I'm grateful for the break we took because it allowed me to "unpack some of my baggage". I had to let go of my past and some of my expectations. Somehow, I've learned to live in the present and just be grateful for what I have. Lesson learned. Enjoy the moment, don't try to relive the past or anticipate the future.
I'm a work in progress but I'm in good hands. Isaiah 64:8 "Yet, you, Oh Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."
Thank you for your prayers!!!!
I knew, having been through the same kind of trial, that it would work out.
Way back when my husband and I were dating and falling in love, he too got cold feet. I had been married before and had two little ones, a boy 3, and a girl 4. He had never been married and was not sure he could be the father they needed. So we broke up for a month. Boy, did I pray and my Prayers were answered . He came back and a year later we married. He was more than a Dad to them. He taught them how to swim, to ride bikes, to play ball, etc. He was so good to them that I wanted to have one more for him. God is good. He gave us a beautiful daughter and 40 great years together. He was gone too soon, but I'm so grateful for the life we all had with him. Hugs to you Mel. Enjoy.
Even the potter has to throw the newly formed cup into the fire, otherwise it would never become something beautiful.
