Take care.
Peace, Tim
dreading. I am trying to ignore it but it has started surfacing in my brain. I am
going to have to brace myself for it. That is one day I may hide in a closet or
something.
I had a phone conversation with a business associate today and he is located in
Laredo ( Texas ). In addition to operating a business in Laredo, he is also the
pastor of a Christian church he founded years ago across the border in Nuevo
Laredo. He told me his congregation is now about 240 or so. While speaking
with him, I thought about the many challenges he deals with constantly while
building a Christian church in such a dangerous location. I asked him about
it and he told me God watches over him as he crosses the border into Mexico
to lead his congregation. I am trying daily to build my own individual relationship
with God and this courageous and dedicated man faces all types of obstacles as
he continues to build his ministry in a place many have thought God may have
abandoned. I have known him for years and obviously admire him.
He also told me that my wife, Debbie, is with Jesus Christ and that I must focus
on the fact she no longer has any pain or stress or anxiety or worry. He said she
is completely safe. He told me to focus on the fact she is in a place that is so
beautiful to a degree that it is far beyond our wildest imagination. He quoted
John 16.33 to me and talked about it for a few minutes. He stressed she is
exposed 24/7 to a level of love that cannot be comprehended by any of us still
on this earth and that I will see her again. I needed to hear that today.
Apologies for getting away from your birthday but the conversation happened
and I needed to put it somewhere.
Blessings -
Darrell
I hope you had a good birthday. I know that special days are hard to deal with, especially the first year. As time passes, it does get easier, but, a sadness may hit for a short time. Anyway, you are here for a reason, so you are blessed.
Hugs, Joely
Please know I'm thinking of you,..... I truly hope your day was as good as can be......

Hey Darrell, I truly needed to hear what you posted. I soak up anything having to do with heaven and where Linda is. No apologies. That was a great present for my heart. Thanks.
Peace to all. Tim
