Pivot is a word I learned many years ago in the hospital, 2010 DBT therapy...for change to come there needs to be a willingness, and a 'trigger/pivot' to shift negative behaviors/thoughts into change.
For the millionth time probably, as I've always for my life flown by the seat of my pants and not a routine...I have two speeds go go go or stop stop stop.
What I've learned is that my challenge with staying focused is just a part of me, I am an organized pandimonium person, meaning when I'm under pressure I do the most and best work.
The Above was BEFORE, in my world today, age, health, motivation, addiction to computer are my challenges to "Pivot" and find solutions for a routine, that is possible...
Over the past week all I have asked myself to do is get out of bed and get dressed every day...anything else is extra, no pressure. I have also been working on how to move forward with only 1.5 months left before I need to finish decluttering, packing, making arrangements to move and the actual move into the condo. I need to make sure the new financial plan is moving forward. I gave myself 5 things to complete before the end of the week.
Reality: I Have Only Me, I got sick tonight, so I have to be careful with my hydration and energy, I know tomorrow I will do less, and that's ok...reality.
Soften breathing in, and Release breathing out helped me to go to sleep last night, helped with anxiety and monkey mind. My night routine is easy, feed Mia, bathroom, set alarm 9am wake up, bed by 11pm, lights out by midnight...atm I'm typing and listening to The Dhammapada for Sleep - Let Your Thoughts Pass - YouTube
Off and on today I've been working on a new morning routine and have completed a simple routine again using Pivot to keep me off the computer which keeps me sitting, not doing what needs doing.

- My Big Goals For Tommorrow is to get out of the house, drive my car to the gas station and get air in the tires. Call the loan agent and find out if all needed paper work is submitted. Spend the whole day cleaning my house, getting rid of a few papers and doing a load of laundry, fold put away.
