Many of us are still not fully out. Why not?
Is it becuase we are not proud of who we are? Is it because to the eyes of others we are not good enough? Are we yielding our space to the control of others allowing them to make of us who they want us to be?
We all are independent souls created by a superior One and we are to protect that grandness given to us and not yield it to anyone else. For way too many years I have felt inferior because of my being gay. All these years I have hidden in the closet and have pretended to be heterosexual. Now I understand the high price I have paid for not being produ of who I am. My mission is to avoid others making that mistake. I even used to be homophobic.
We were born to succeed, enjoy and shine. no one can take that brightness from our souls without our permission. We are the kings of our lives. No one can see through our eyes.
So why be sad about others that want to put us down? Why pay attention to their prejudice? Why value their opinions more than our dreams? Are we not being selfish to ourselves?
By being gay we are stronger. We are move human. We are the defenders of the rights of other. We fight prejudice everyday. We have a progressive mind. We are the rainbow. Gay is happy! We were made different for a purpose.
I am truly proud of being who I am. I love being gay and want to share these feelings with a man who I may love. Where I live choices are limited or unavailable. So I intend to relocate. Do the same. I actually feel privileged of being gay. It is an awesome feeling. The biggest thing is being able to find someone that can make us forget everything else.
Be you first! Family and those that value you will come after you and support you. Those that don"t never were worth it.
Be free like an eagle. Be you first! everyone else is a passenger in your life. Enjoy the ride. You never know how long it lasts.
Peace out!

As a wise lady once said" we were born this way". We are beautiful. If we only believe it, the rest of the world will see it.
