Tricare and you can keep your Dr! I thought Obamac

I don't know if anyone here is on Tricare but if there is have you seen the changes they are making and what we will be paying? It sounds like our Health Care is going to be a somewhat like Obamacare. if you have read about the changes all the "Crap Head Do Nothing" we have in Washington are doing to Retired Military/ Active Duty/ Tricare For Life, I would like to hear your opinion. My husband signed me up for the SBP when he retired and I don't know what I would have done without it since I have MS. I have already had to find another Neurologist because a lot of the Drs. are opting out Medicare or retiring and now more will probably opt out of Tricare and I will have stop some 0f my medications. What will these changes do to you?

I can't understand how he has gotten away with all the lies he has told. All those spineless idiots in congress, senate and the Military ones who are supposed to be for us are afraid of the playboy.

I have not seen much change in the VA system but I have been notified my Medicare is going to hell. Most of the people I have talked to have told me that their Primary doctors are charging much higher co-pays or leaving the practice altogether.

At the VA in West Haven they discovered that the Operating Room is a mess. The nurses and some doctors have been using equipment not sterile and a lot of crap is coming from this. There is a major overhaul of the system in Connecticut right now. Doctors and Nurses have been let go Cleaning house is a bummer.

I hope no one is on Medicare and Tricare and are 65 or older (or younger with a disability ) and are on Tricare for life. If you can get your meds. from Express Script and continue to use your Pharmacy after the 3rd. letter they send you if you get your med at your Pharm. you have to pay the full price for it. This is called the Pilot Program. I have used Express Script for a couple of years and was signed up for automatic refills or I thought I was my meds. They will call me and say one of my meds. will be filled and then call a couple of days and tell me they can't send it because a company has quit making it and there is a shortage, They would say the med. would arrive in 5 to 7 days then 7 to 10 days now they will not say what medication has been filled or when it will arrive but they will tell you the tracking number. Like I walk around with a pen and paper in my hand all the time. They have screwed up on my medicine big time. This is supposed to save the Gov. money and us too. How? I am going to have the expense of going to get new prescriptions and take it to my Pharmacy. That cost me more gas for more than a hour trip to the DR. and then to take to my pharmacy. I did not save any money! How can it save the Gov. money when Express Script sends one order at a time by mail when you have 6 or more meds. to take and the price of mail has gone up so much. I have heard lie after lie and each one is different each time I call them. If they send the wrong medication or your medicine gets damaged before you get it you can not send it back and you still have to pay for it. I will not pay for it if that happens to me! Has anyone saw the budget and changes they have planned concerning health care. Obama care was not supposed to affect Medicare or Tricare. Go to Military.com and do some reading. I signed up for e-mails and you can stay up to date about what is happening concerning the Military.
