Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
So, it no longer feels right to believe in such things. It also feels like crap to give up hope.
So I get by telling myself... something pretty darned similar to what you posted in your second post.
Still working on that.
So…..are you sure you thought it was her?? 100%???
I had red flags and feelings there was something strange with him.
I had not believed it could happen at the age I was when I met the p--58. I was not expecting much out of life. And he was like my twin flame in many ways. For a long time, I thought he was. I often say that, if the evil could have been distilled out of him, he would have been my perfect man. The things we enjoyed doing meshed almost perfectly. This was not an act on on his part, as his lifestyle reflected his interests.and activities. I never had so much fun in my life until I met him. He made me shriek with laughter every single day. We had dance parties for 2 that lasted into the night. Sometimes under the stars on his deck. He LOVED shopping and cooking. He was extremely verbal--like women are. We were joined at the hip and I never felt tired of him. Angry, yes, Tired, no.
As all of you know who have been through this, his evil machinations were woven through our potentially joyful lives on a daily basis. Lying and cheating, lying about me, sabotaging, tricking, demeaning, shaming, baiting, secretly taping, etc. Sometimes, I didn't realize things until later, so some days seemed completely joyful, but they wouldn't have been if I had known what else he was up to on those days.
My therapist tends to want to discount all of my ex's persona as fake. I pointed out that he WAS the person he presented himself as in terms of his interests, likes, and abilities. He WAS NOT the person he presented himself as in terms of his honesty, integrity good heart and good intentions.
Yes, I thought I had found my complement in life, the one I always should have been with, my true love. I look forward to seeing this from the other side of the veil. What purpose did this serve?
I don’t believe in twin souls. I believe God makes us a whole not a half. I feel like we don't HAVE to love someone because God predestinedly chooses who we love. We CHOOSE love who we want to love. Free will? Nobody is perfect we are flawed so love is flawed not perfect.
That being said, I still believe that love is mysterious, unexplainable and freaking beautiful.
That is just my opinion Nutella :)
"You feel a sense of completion that goes beyond words. This feeling is about wholeness on a soul level that is beyond the physical. Each twinflame is still an individual and is not 'the other half of your soul' as if you are a complete soul now that you have found them. You are meeting an energetic mirror of your own soul. You share a vibration and you resonate with them. You even feel an attraction to the sound of their voice and it may even sound familiar to you."

What I cannot understand is how my "twin flame" could be a psychopath. I am devoted to the true and the good. However, I believe that psychopaths do have souls from which they are disconnected at the conscious level. Evil will always occupy a void. So maybe it is possible that one twin can be disconnected from God while the other twin is not. Because of the intense attraction, maybe it is a call to the soul of the psychopath to awaken. While it is a challenge to light-filled soul to not succumb to darkness.
Or maybe twin souls are nothing but a theory.
