Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
It is true they say as time passes you get stronger, i still have my moments, but today i did something that i was so brave to do, in my mind for months i could not bring myself to do this but all by myself, I walked into the bank and closed our joint account, and paid the overdraft he left outstanding, through the posts here it has made me understand and cope with many issues and one being NO CONTACT letting go is the hardest thing i could ever do. im still confused in alot of things of how to heal in many ways, but i still have a big journey ahead of me, When i was at the lowest point of giving up and wanting to kill myself i had to reach out and find people to connect with, one is this site to the many who have been there from the start to have come to know me i thank you. and joining a church, to heal, but last sundae i went to a physic which i know the church is against it, but if your hurting in so many ways you will cling to anything to keep you alive, I did not have to tell the physic anything she told me, which gave me goose bumps, one thing she said is HE WILL RETURN and he is the devil she said he follows me i don't understand what that means that he follows me, can someone please clarify that, and she said i am going to be o.k but thank you everyone for your comforting words if i could meet you in person i would give you a special hug. I too recently went to a psychic I am sure was real. It seems she saw things in metaphor. Since most people do not have experience with the extremes of evil and awfulness of psychopathic behavior and its effects on victims, to them what they sense must seem extreme. So they associate those feelings with extremes they do understand, which may sound ominous.
For example, my psychic said once that I was going to experience a near-death and recovery experience like when you get really sick or have a heart attack, but don't die. Glad she said that last bit! I think what she meant was how little of my traumatized self remained at my low, and how happy I would feel when I really began to recover myself. I did not believe that at the time, and was not happy, could not imagine being happy. Now, 8 months after the reading, I am. Happy and finally after 3 years beginning to recover myself. I do feel reborn.
