Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
Been a while since I've posted anything since my laptop is literally broken. The computer I'm using is one at the nearby community college.
I've posted things like this in the AS group I'm a part of and generally get chewed out for it.
I believe there is a "fake aspie trend" possibly going on, and it is the result of attention seekers emboldened by faulty or fixed research.
Its my opinion, for instance, that over half the books which claim to be about females with AS are actually subliminal instruction manuals for women with personality disorders to hide behind the mantle of autism for one reason or another--knowingly or otherwise.
Case in point: look at this book's description and see if anything doesn't sound familiar

"Chameleons"? "Changing persona but not really knowing the persona"? "CONTROLS family and friends with passive-aggressive behavior"?! "fears the real person they are is defective and hides it"? Really?

It is not my intention to make anyone suspicious or mistrustful of aspies, but no one is pointing any of this out, and no one seems to wonder why Asperger's, once considered a rare disorder, became almost as common as ADHD seemingly over night.
