Hmmm sounds very much like my ex ex the sadistic narcissistic psychopath., What i learned is that they do this deliberately to make you feel bad. Its about control. Remember the greatest thing they crave is power and control. He is trying to control you. manipulate you. This particular man was also incredibly sensitive, i now realise that this was rubbish. (he also played that he was bullied as a child. I spent more than a year with that man. I can tell you, that no matter how much you pour in, it will never be enough. In the end you will lose yourself.

I remember when i first met him, i was stronger than him despite my child had died only a short time earlier. i thought with love and understanding he would be fine. But what he was doing was abuse. He is doing the same thing. I would describe him a psychic vampire., Google psychic vampire. As he was just like this, honestly after more than a year knowing this despicable soul, i was left an empty shell. By the time i met the charismatic sociopath - there was nothing left of me zero. I was just a vacant empty shell. That is what this man did to me. And that is what he will do to you.

You cant help him. You cant change him. Only thing you can do is walk away.

Lets face it, if you are saying 'oh you idiot' he would KNOW what you meant. yet pretend that he didnt to make YOU feel bad. This man did this to me ALL the time, and honestly now looking back, he knew exactly what he was doing. I havent seen that man for a year and seven months, and i hope and pray to god i never see him again, he was what can only be described as evil.

Yes, it's all an act! He used to pretend to be hurt and say he felt rejected and that I wasn't talking to him enough. Then he faked crying in front of me. Whenever I did try to talk to him we would try to shut me up so I ended up being more silent. He also accused me of eyeing another guy and pretended to be so angry. Him! The serial cheater! accused me of looking at other guys. I thought he was serious at the time and I ended up having to console him and apologizing that I wasn't giving him enough attention. That sensitive guy act is all crap!

Being overly sensitive gives them an excuse to have you walking on eggshells. My ex was so sensitive that I was scared of even having my own opinion on anything (in the end), for fear of upseting him or causing an argument. Narcissists cannot tolerate any criticism, or questioning of their motives/intentions. But they especially react badly to anyone whos view (on whatever) differ from theirs. Insead of allowing people to be individuals by having their own mind, they feel threatened (because their way is the only way).

so true i didnt know how to figure out what why i couldnt bring up certain feelings or emotions with him without him getting angry and going off on me. it wasnt untill the end of the relationship i realized i wasnt allowed to talk about certain topics or issues. i created a lot of displaced anger in that problem and still am working on that one. its funny how i just kept my mouth shut for fear of causing a fight but i really didnt even know i was doing that at the time. funny how badly they mess up your mind when your with them but get away and a bright light goes off in ur head seeing things you never saw before yes if they dont get there way they are truly evil and cruel
