Rebuilding!

I have to say, after three weeks of NC with my ex P, I feel pretty good.Some moments still in shock or hard to reliaze things still, but I feel that magic in my life is coming back .
I'm rebuilding with difficulty my self confidence thought…..
I still hear his words :" No one will ever pull out with that shit for too long"….. "everyone just wanna f…..you"……
"do you think you are all that? Ahahaha".
It's not easy for me not to think…..what about if he is right?
In effect no man love me like I do love my partners and maybe there is a reason because of that if at my age I still single? That is the hard part for me…..

When psychopaths begin to lose control of their victim, they inevitably lash out with nasty and negative put downs to keep you feeling badly, and maintaining low self esteem. You will find true love from another when you begin to love and respect yourself. That is the hardest step towards a healthy relationship, and one a victim finds they have no idea how to do. Stay strong, and remind yourself on an intellectual level, that words are just that, don't let negative thoughts and reminders hold you back from finding some true happiness. All we all want is equal love and appreciation from our partner. Just because you have not yet found that, does not mean you will not find it.

When I feel less than 100%, I force myself to be in a busy environment (coffee shop, grocery store, mall!) so I can interact with others and not think about myself. It works! Also, I find great music in the car and at home helps me clean and do errands!

Long ago I told my sons that they would not get along with everyone - to let those go who do not fit. Today, they are both happily married and very successful with great friends. It wasn't always easy, but they knew their goals and kept going.

After being with an alcoholic, I learned what it is like to lose yourself in a situation. It was a struggle to get back to me, but it was a learning experience and my radar is up!! Nutelina, you are doing great - change takes time. NC is what saved me - I thought he had changed and I went back - it was worse!! NC!
