Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
The person I knew and will continually discuss as long as I'm here had (among other ones) a very odd habit...
She loves to strike poses, and the more people pay attention to whatever it is she's doing, the more she embellishes. For instance, she'll post something and provide some juicy, yet vague details, then, when someone asks a question, or makes some kind of supplementary comment, she males new info known to keep it going.
But another thing she does is to say "me too", so to speak; like, "I knew about that" or "that happened to me". Not with everything, just things that, I believe, she thinks are cool, or whatnot.
In particular, she pretends to have what I have: Asperger's Syndrome.
How do I know she's pretending? I don't, not beyond a shadow of a doubt, but for one thing, simply being around her, hearing about her, won't paint a picture of AS.
And listen to this: before I met her, all she hinted at having (as she loves to broadcast her illnesses and you name it) was" bipolar, shcizophrenia, DID (...yeah) depression, scoliosis, plantar faciitis, but no AS.
Barely a month after I told her I had it, suddenly she has it too! And she's really into it too; she'll slack off fora month or so in favor of being obsessed with a new disorder, but tends to always come back to AS, making videos about it and so forth.
This, among other things, proves to me that, among her pathology, is Histrionic Personality disorder.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
