Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
I have been feeling like I need to let it be known what kind of a scumbag my soon to be Ex husband is to his family cuz its eating away at me and he lives in a different state and just telks them a bunch if lies acting like father of the year...this is what I text to his uncle (that I used to be friendly with)today....,don't hold back I need to know if I just come across like a crazy lady or did I sum it up in a nutshell...
U must be so proud of Shaun...losing ALL legal and physical custody of his son, (which is EXTREMELY hard to do in Ca.) not calling in to court, having his attorney ask the judge to release her from representing him, owing thousands of dollars in back child support, Not calling at the designated times or sending his child a Xmas present, being AWOL and having a warrant out for his arrest, losing Aidens health Insurance (which i was paying) cheating on his pregnant wife and during our entire relationship (hence the genital warts) losing the GI Bill for taking the money and not going to class and he still hasn't worked a day in 2 years.... I should have ran for the hills the day he threatened to break up with me if I didn't marry him and then proceed to beg me not to tell anyone because he was pretending to be "ashamed" he didn't have a ring and propose properly. Turns out he married for Money and a car and i married for what i foolishly thought was love. So when you're swallowing my character assassination without question, take a look at the facts. It's all documented so u can not ignore the truth, Including you and your wife providing him an escape from his responsibilities instead of encouraging him to stand like a man back in Sept.2011. Thank you for being the enabler that you are because I no longer have to be tortured by a pathological ying Sociopath.

Not to mention, they were huge contributors to my ex's behaviors. Why would I want our children around that? I eventually got over the anger - and them.
(They weren't my favorite people to begin with. I used to feign sickness to excuse myself from their family functions)
It would have probably been best to write it and sleep on it for a day...... or three... but it doesn't really matter. Chances are slim you'll ever win them over. They're his family and the key to dysfunction is keeping the family's secrets a secret.
I know it sucks. I hate being lied about, too, but get it out here with us or with your other support system. I'm sure you know he's probably telling his friends & family you're nuts and if you keep writing to them, you'll just add fuel to the fire and come off looking like the vindictive ex.
Forwhateeason, I agree maybe waiting before sending it would have been ideal but whatever! It's hard to be ideal all the time. If you got some closure writing it then good for you.

In fact, he went to such great lengths to act like father of the year.... he would set 'alarm' on his mobile phone for it to ring.... every other day.With fake calls to the mother and his child.
Yep seriously he kept that up. Something about them, that is really sick, where they love to use their children to play what a good guy they are.
When it couldnt be further from the truth.
His own daughter wrote him an email she was 7 and said 'please daddy no more lies' .....
Somehow its fun to them, to pretend to be the absolute opposite to who they really are.
