Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
I haven't had contact for over two weeks now (and before the last contact it was three weeks) and doing somewhat better. I havent' seen him in over 2 months. It still feels like yesterday. I still think about him often throughout the day, actually alot. It is like an obsession. I have a hard time thinking of anything else and my mind wanders. I remember all of the good times. I feel like I lost my second half, my soulmate, my best friend. To think it was all an illusion is something my mind cant comprehend. I find myself asking why this happened and what I am supposed to learn from this and how to move on and get the peace/closure that I need. Lots of praying, talking to others, reading, and meditating help. I haven't reached out to him which is very hard not to do. But I have the strength that I need to focus on myself, healing, and my family. I hope to look back at these post one day and realize how far I have come and where the Lord has brought me. It is all a journey...
After Suffering 425 of abusive cycle of idolization then devalue then discard. I sometime wonder why do struggle to even eat ,sleep,cycling,talk to people, do anything on my own because i was so much dependent on him emotionally that everything i used to do was to keep him back of my mind as he is the source of my existence. Now when i am abuser free and i should be thankful i am missing him. Actually i am missing my emotional dependency (drug) not him.
