I feel we are responsible for changing ourselves I think so that we don't keep making the wrong choices and do nothing about it. is it our fault? no. I think shit happens in life to some people and I try to see it as a lesson in life were being taught for a reason. for a better life.

It is not your fault, you fell into a trap, it is not your fault wanting to be loved, it is only human, they use that human "need" to their advantage, your only sin is just that... being human.
Bella is right, now you have a chance to learn from your mistakes and become wiser, and you also have a chance to get to know yourself better and love yourself better, as we do that we get closer to what true love is.

yes it was a trap and gorgeouschaos is right and I should have stressed that more, it was not your fault or any of our fault for loving and trusting the wrong person. I didn't really even no they were out there really. not wolves dressed in sheeps clothing anyways. it was not your fault.

No, it's not your fault for being victimized. You are not their first victim and you will not be their last either, sadly. Now you must learn, grow and fight to get out of the mess and not let the sociopath win. We don't choose to be in this position, but if you are going to have a life again you must choose to overcome.

They are big game players. I think they lay thier trap for many people but some of the more trusting fall into it while the others manage not to fall into it. No, I dont think it was our fault, who knew about creepy monsters who came in the form of normal humans and who would rob you in the name of love.

No it's not a person's fault for being selected and victimized by a psychopath. We don't think like they do, in many cases did not know people like them existed. We did not know how to see them. And Ps are generally very good at what they do.
