Nutellina, whether they are born or created at a young age, sociopaths do not crave love like the rest of us, and therefore place no value on it. They know how to work people to make these people fall in love with them. It’s almost too easy, especially for a high-functioning sociopath. Love means nothing to the sociopath, which is why they heartlessly discard and hop from victim to victim. A sociopath never misses you. They only miss what they can get out of you- if they didn’t manage to get it all before the D&D.

I was actually wondering if they miss the fact to not to have someone that care for them. I know they don t miss us but I wonder if they feel the fact to have a person that honestly are there for them. Do you know what I mean? I wonder if they relize that they had sincere care and if they need that at some level.

They will all eventually ruin every relationship..... But I wonder if their lonely nights, in the dark, they would feel loneliness and sadness for the fact that they are often refused. Even thought their feeling superior is part of them, it must be some moments for them when they relize they are such poor people because no one want to deal with them.

Sociopaths appreciate DRAMA more than they do the love and care!!

Sociopaths has poor impulse control so they cant help themselves. But their biggest enemy is BOREDOM. this is what gets them into so much trouble.

But if there was no drama, they would create it, which is why they do all the compulsive pathological lying and manipulation deceit, they get dupers delight out of that, which eases their boredom.

they wouldn't miss love and care, as they do not value that, but they would miss a source for supply even if that source for supply was your company.....

Am sorry Nutellina, they don't miss us or the relationship as they always have more than one line of supply or are able to secure others with ease and they enjoy this process. As they consider us to be inferior and of little consequence they hold no store by our capacity to love, care, be there for someone - this just confirms for them how weak we are and that we deserve what happens to us. They miss supply in the sense that securing victims is time consuming/tiring requiring them to appear 'normal-ish' until we are reeled in or they have to go through a mini-cycle of 'normal' to re-secure us if we question the relationship too closely which is then followed by the devalue/discard stage again. If other supply dries up they may well come back to see if they can still pull the legs off us/manipulate/control but they don't miss us the individual - one of the awful things to realise is it wasn't personal - we could have been anyone - we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time and deeply vulnerable. If they do come back they will consider us even weaker than before as we have fallen for it all again. They are incapable of any real emotion, they mimic emotions to control people - mostly they just lie from waking to sleep. On 'lonely nights' they zone out with TV, porn, alcohol, stalking new victims on the internet (the one I knew was a retired teacher and would look for former students to email and say 'hi' to as an overture to attempting to secure more supply). They are never what we term sad, though they do feel sorry for themselves at times and then blame others for this. What you are possibly still dealing with is magical thinking - that inside that thing that looked like a real person there was some kind of real human being - there wasn't.

I understand. I know very well they don t have feelings and I was wondering at what level they are disconnected from human feelings. It must be something human in them if they have a man appearance. Lol. It seems we are talking about Martians.

They dont miss us, they only miss the supply we give unless they have someone else to use.

They say P/S do not need people at all, they dont need to be admired. They do fine without people.

And they say Ns miss..but not in the sense that we miss someone, with our heart...but the Ns miss the admiration and feedback to boast their false ego.

Since sociopaths are also narcissist...I think they differ a lot, from one spectrum to another, how much they need this attention or not need it at all.

I thought at first that my S MUST miss me since we were so interwoven in each others lives. But alas it is not so. He went from declaring his love and his anticipation of our upcoming wedding one day to moving in with another woman the next day. I thought well she couldn't possibly be caring for him in the manner that he likes. But alas his preferences change from woman to woman as well so she did just fine. He never missed me and probably rarely thought of me as his needs were being met. He is in jail now and guess what.....he is calling because he is in need again. I will not answer. I am still reading as much as I can because I still need to understand more. There is a peace and comfort that only living in truth brings. To me that is way better than living in the delusion that he is away pining for me. That place was lonely and dark. The place I am now with truth is powerful. I like that.

its funny how should say they must be human. the more I study and understand and have even seen videos where they are accused of being some kind of alien, the more I really wonder what they are. its so hard for me to grasp that they don't even think about us or remember us the way we do them. its almost impossible for me to understand fully. I wish I could get that part through my head. its so hard to believe that any human being is so cold. maybe they aren't human at all who knows. I think im having a rough day....

Oops! Hit send too quickly! Was going to say that I like the part about not taking it personally and about simply being at the wrong place at the wrong time. That actually really helps in acceptance.

Also, remembering that they find you weaker when they come back for round 2 (or more), is another great reason to continue NC.
