Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.

My mom was evil, my dad was an idiot, they treated me like dirt----so, just common sense I would wind up with a sociopath girlfriend that stupid me let me treat like dirt.
A 'psychology today" online article lists psychological wounds by lousy moms on their daughters, but I think it applies to parents period and male kids as well.....about lack of confidence, not teaching kids to take care of themselves, being around lousy people that remind themselves of own lousy parents, etc.

The June issue of Psychology Today is a cover story from an anynomous sociopath; maybe it's real or a bunch of clinical true stories tied together (there have been articles of how all those self-help books have fake case histories). The sociopath in the article writes how her dad had lots of money, wasted it on himself, with the sociopath as a kid going without food. Even sounds like what I went through as a kid, and probably what lots of victims of sociopaths went through. I only glanced through the article at Walmart yesterday; a five dollar magazine is too much of a luxery for me.
My parents were selfish, wasted a lot of money, lived poorly, but were also jealous of successful people who had lots of money----so, besides temporarily winding up with a sociopath, I've known mostly the permanent lowerclass all my life. Thanks, mom & dad.

A tree outside where I live is dying, seemingly from dog urine----with the bully in my building going out his way to not only have his dog urinate there but to have the dog urinate on the fence and sign I bought to try save the tree----and then slide the sign under my apt door.Turns out that was a TRIGGER for me----bullying and humialtion right out of high school. I was so beaten down, I wasn't able to fully figure things out till my late 40s. I keep on hoping f scott fitzgerald was wrong about "there are no second acts in american lifes" but at age 54 i exist more than live.
Yes, I just wanna forget my past; after figuring out most of it, my past even seems alien to me.
A couple days ago I stumbled across some "psychology today" articles with some points in them I'm gonna write in my diary, to better get them into my thick skull.
