The problem with gaslighting is that you won't talk to someone about what is happening to you because you're afraid they're going to think you're crazy, so you suffer in silence.

I'm sorry you have experienced Gaslighting. I watched the 1944 movie Gaslight the other day. I was surprised how they captured the evil man messing with her head back in 1944. I was believing everything he was saying to me and about me. It took adding a new friend to our family before I started realizing I wasn't crazy. It also took joining this group to help me.
I know it's not like talking to a person face to face, but it is actually better to come here and mention Gaslight. We know what you are speaking of first hand and understand.
Please tell us about it.

The sad thing is that even if you have suspicions of this going on, there are so many terms that aren't acceptable in court hearings, merely because you wish to say them. Generally you don't know about these things until after court hearings, anyway. In fact, while your're there, you find yourself making remarks like "You had to be there," and "He has this way of getting things from people." Hopefully it's not so rare, that a judge understands something wicked is going on with the "monster."
