Ex socio just married his new supply

So after meeting her twice I just found out my ex socio has clinched his new supply by marrying her. He searched her out in January through facebook, met her in March when he went back for a visit to his home country after 2 months of sweet talking her via phone and FB. Came back to Canada again after his "holiday" and spent another 7 months love-bombing her some more and now has returned and married her. This poor girl, as much as I tried to warn her, has NO CLUE what she's in for now. And he's planning to bring her back to Canada now and try to get residency for them both. He has a job here, she does not. He knows the language, she does not. He doesn't want her to work when she comes here, even if she learns the language, so she will be a shut-in to his abuse that is sure to follow quickly. She also has a 4 year old son. God help her. I am sickened.

I dodged a bullet. He was all talk about marriage and babies with me shortly after we met, and had I not begun to figure him out and make things "difficult" for him I'm sure I would have been the sucker in this scenario.

Wow. Amazing that anyone is so desperate to marry a man they just met. That's incredible. You're right, she's in for a real nightmare. She's going to be trapped in a foreign country, no job, no language skills, isolated from everyone (that's probably part of the reason he chose her). She's going to have a hell of a time escaping him.

You cannot save her from him, mostly because right now she does not want to be saved. She has not been through what you have been through yet. It seems like you have done everything you could. It's up to her now.

Dana I did my best and that's all I can do. I did try to warn her but she wouldn't hear it. I am sure she will look back one day and wish she had listened.

I feel bad for her too. He only goes for kindhearted women. She thinks she has been blessed by God for meeting him. I remember when I first met him thanking God for allowing me to meet such a wonderful man lol Wow I couldn't have been further off base with that one. So I know how she feels right now...totally swept away and so blessed to have found such a decent, helpful, attentive and caring man who is not afraid of marriage and wants children. That is until the mask begins to slip. And slip it will. What it will reveal to her will be ugly. I hope his mask slips sooner than later though.
